A Wrexham-based choir will be holding a concert in four different languages with the aim of raising money for charity.

The Rhos Orpheus Male Choir will be performing in a concert in Christ Church Rossett this Saturday night (October 22).

The concert, in aid of Nightingale House Hospice, will feature the choir singing in English, Welsh, Japanese and Ukrainian!

Richard Huxley, Concert Secretary for the choir said: "We are delighted to have been invited by the Wrexham Erddig Rotary Club to sing in this concert for Nightingale House.

“The programme includes Welsh favourites and songs from the shows but we also like to surprise the audience with other pieces. We will include a song which begins in English and ends in Japanese and we will also be singing the Prayer for Ukraine in Ukrainian!"

The concert will also include tenor soloist Alf Gladman and flautist Adele Bracegirdle.

The concert is in Christ Church Rossett on Saturday 22 October at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 in advance and are available from Richard Huxley on 07528259087 or pay on the door.
