Author of the Month: October 2022
Our October author of the month is the glorious Bethan Gwanas. Each and every one of her novels is a pleasure to read, with memorable and interesting characters. Bethan Gwanas is undoubtedly one of our most beloved authors in Wales and a dear friend to Welsh libraries. We are looking forward to welcoming her back to Mold Library this week for an extra special event for Welsh learners (October 12, 7pm - free entry).
Whether you are discovering her books for the very first time, or revisiting some of her best known and loved titles, we have put together a small reading list to set you off on a Bethan Gwanas adventure. Enjoy!
Where it all began: Llinyn Trôns (2000), Hi yw fy Ffrind (2004)
For younger readers: Gwrach y Gwyllt (2003), Merch y Gwyllt (2020)
For new Welsh speakers: Bywyd Blodwen Jones (1999), Yn ei Gwsg (2018)
Most recently: Prawf Mot (2022)
Aura Libraries' top recommendation: I Botany Bay (2015)
