Wrexham AFC's impressive away support continued this week with two huge followings at Oldham Athletic and Notts County.

It was contrasting results for the Reds, Paul Mullin's injury-time winner secured all three points on Saturday at Boundary Park.

While Macaulay Langstaff's first-half goal was enough to end Wrexham's unbeaten run at Meadow Lane last night.

No matter what the result, the Red army have been out in force at both games.

More than 1,800 made the four-hour round trip to Nottingham last night, and over 2,500 were at Boundary Park last weekend.

While the day may have been marred by disorder between fans prior to the game, Super Paul's penalty sent the packed-out away end into raptures deep into stoppage time.

The Wrexham following proved so large, that it was more than attendances at eight other National League games.

The 2,520 Wrexham took to Oldham was a bigger crowd than a number of games across the division:

Aldershot Town vs Wealdstone - 1,702.

Barnet vs York City - 1,627.

Boreham Wood vs Maidstone United - 1,001.

Dorking Wanderers vs Dagenham and Redbridge - 1,536.

Halifax Town vs Woking - 1,845.

Gateshead vs Eastleigh - 1,162.

Solihull Moors vs Bromley - 1,498.

Torquay United vs Scunthorpe United - 2,111.

Wrexham's support has been massive this season, with the club achieving impressive feats and even averaging more than recent Champions League semi-finalists.

Phil Parkinson and his players regularly reference the Red Army, and they'll be hoping for another huge crowd at the Racecourse this weekend as they take on Barnet.
