Wrexham AFC has opened player sponsorship packages allowing sponsorship of Women's first team players for the first time!

The club launched its player sponsorship packages on Friday announcing that, for the first time, companies will also be able to sponsor Wrexham AFC women's first team players.

The opportunity to sponsor all men’s first-team players’ home and away shirts is available, as well as the Betty Buzz match-branded women’s first-team home shirts.

Each player sponsor will receive a match-branded shirt, signed by their chosen player, supplied in a presentation box with a Certificate of Authenticity and delivered pre-Christmas.

Sponsors of the men’s first team home and away shirts will also have their name and/or company logo alongside their player’s picture on the club website and in the match-day programme.

A number of player sponsors from last year have already asked to renew their sponsorships to show their support.

Simon Evans, of Monopoly Buy Sell Rent – who sponsored two shirts last season – said: “Player sponsorship is a great way to support the club, and the shirts are a nice keepsake at an exciting time for the club.

“We sponsor shirts to show our support to the club, and either keep the shirts to add to our own collections or to give to local good causes.”

Sponsors of the women’s first-team home shirts will have name and/or company logo featured alongside their player’s picture on the club website.

The cost of sponsoring a men’s first-team player, either home or away, is £400 including VAT and to sponsor a women’s first-team player is £300 including VAT.

As well as this, Wrexham company Kronospan, has been announced as the new dug-out sponsor at the Wrexham AFC Racecourse Ground.

The sponsorship sees Kronospan take on the branding of the home and away dug-outs at the Racecourse Ground, starting with this season, and boasting a visual presence at the ground.

A dug-out is an integral part of a sports stadium designed to keep players and coaches covered, comfortable and dry.
