Bellis Brothers are getting ready to give guests a delightful scare with this year's Spooky Maize Maze and Pick Your own Pumpkin patch.

The family-run farm grows four hectares of pumpkins, ready for picking this October, and has also created a maze suitable for young children as they follow the clues and complete a worksheet to spell out a spooky word and receive a small treat.

Everyone visiting this year will need to book in advance. Tickets are free and go per vehicle, not person, to give groups an allocated half-hour time slot to turn up, though there is no restriction on the amount of time guests spend in the fields.

Proof of booking will also be required on entry to the field and tickets will be released at 9am on Wednesday, September 21 for the weekends of October 8 and 9, 15 and 16, and 22 and 23.

Tickets for October 24 to 31 will be released closer to the time. The fields will be open from 10am to 5pm, with the last entry to the Maize Maze at 4pm.

Pumpkin prices start at £2 per pumpkin. Cash and card payments are accepted for pumpkins though cash is preferred.

Spooky Maize Maze entry is £2 per person cash only with under threes free. Parking is free.

Guests are asked to wear sensible clothing to go pumpkin picking, and wellies and raincoats are advised. The pumpkin plants can be prickly so children should have their legs and arms covered.

Wheelbarrows will be available on a first come first serve basis but it is suggested guests bring a large bag for life just in case all of the wheelbarrows are being used.

As well as coming to the Pumpkin farm guests can also pay a visit to the Farm Shop, Garden Centre, and Strawberry Fields Restaurant.
