A CHOIR with members from across Wrexham, Mold and Chester, has moved rehearsal location.

Rehearsals for the Theatretrain Regional Choir have moved to Ysgol Bryn Coch, in Mold for their Thursday evening rehearsals.

The choir has been performing since 2015, when their first performance was singing at a wedding in Hawarden.

Since that time they have performed at many charity events to raise money for many local groups, performed at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, as well as at Theatr Clwyd, The Pavilion Theatre in Rhyl and The Forum Studio Theatre in Chester.

In 2019 they shared the stage with popular vocal group, Collabro, when their tour arrived at the Lyceum Theatre in Crewe.

Some past members of the choir are now following performing arts courses at colleges around the UK, whilst another is currently sailing the world as a vocalist on a cruise ship.

The choir is always keen to welcome new members, aged between nine and 18 years old. They are invited to head along to the Mold primary school for 6pm on Thursdays or they can contact artistic director Steve Davies via email at mold@theatretrain.co.uk
