A CAR BOOT sale has recently been re-introduced to a Flintshire town, with the aim of raising funds for local organisations.

The events first returned to Holywell on August 13 and have been organised by the Holywell Community Market team.

Based at Tower Gardens, the car boot sales are now running on the second Saturday of every month.

A statement from the Holywell Market Group said that should the car boot sales 'become popular', then it will look at increasing the number of such events it hosts each month.

The statement adds: "Car boot sales are a great way to recycle the stuff you no longer use whilst giving you a way of making a bit of extra money and buyers the chance to find a bargain by buying something at the fraction of the cost of a new item.

"Please help make the sales a success by bringing a stall or coming out to support those that do."

The next car boot sale in Holywell takes place this coming Saturday (September 10) 9am to 2pm, with free entry for all cars.

If you are interested in setting up a stall at the car boot sale, then you can book through the Carboot Holywell Facebook group or call 07871770159.
