At 6.54pm, they found a missing male who was located safe and well.

Ten minutes later, officers received a report of a male being assaulted near to Bellevue park. CCTV enquiries are ongoing and officers are conducting follow up enquiries. Inspector Hughes calls this a 'very frustrating incident'.

In what was a very busy day for officers, they then seized an untaxed and uninsured vehicle on Mawddwy Avenue before reuniting a lost wallet with its rightful owner.

Further incidents on Wednesday saw a female arrested on suspicion of having made threats to a male in public. Inspector Hughes said: "Totally unacceptable behaviour and zero tolerance from me in regards to this. Wrexham city should be a safe place for all."

At 1:40am, officers made their way to an assault at St John court where one male is arrested and the victim is taken to hospital.

The day ends with a call about concerns over drinking in Bellevue Park at 5:25am. Inspector Hughes adds that the location is 'protected by an order that prohibits drinking and anti-social behaviour'.
