MORE than a dozen establishments in Flintshire have been given a new food hygiene rating.

They have been issued to 13 restaurants, takeaways, cafes and pubs after recent inspections by the Food Standards Agency. 

The following ratings have been given to eight restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Anchor Hotel at The Anchor Hotel, High Street, Saltney; rated on August 5.

• Rated 5: Merchants Cafe at Boys & Boden Builders Merchants, Broughton Mills Road, Saltney; rated on August 3.

• Rated 5: Llys Eleanor at Shotton Lane, Shotton; rated on August 1.

• Rated 5: Lola and Suggs Beachside Cafe at Station Road, Talacre; rated on July 29.

• Rated 5: Hawarden Castle Pavilion at Glynne Way, Hawarden; rated on July 28.

• Rated 5: Infunity Ltd at Unit 1 Bromfield Industrial Estate, Bromfield Lane, Mold; rated on July 26.

• Rated 5: Marmalade at 31a High Street, Holywell; rated on July 26.

• Rated 5: Doris' Bunker Cafe at North Clwyd Animal Rescue at Maes Gwyn, Trelogan; rated on July 22.

Pub, bar or nightclub:

• Rated 5: Buckley Cricket Club at Chester Road, Buckley; rated on July 22.

Takeaways:

• Rated 5: Lucky Takeaway at Lucky Take Away, 148 High Street, Saltney; rated on July 28.

• Rated 5: Subway at Singing Kettle Service Station, Gorsedd; rated on July 28.

The Leader:

• Rated 5: Great Wall at The Great Wall, 16 Whitford Street, Holywell; rated on July 27.

• Rated 1: Harun's at 18 Church Street, Flint; rated on July 5.
