Traffic Wales are reminding drivers to always check blind spots when changing lanes on motorways.
In a post on twitter they said: "Before changing lanes in any situation whether on motorways/dual carriageways and even at busy roundabouts, always check your vehicle’s blind spot.
"You may be surprised to see a vehicle next to you undetected by your mirrors."
Traffic Wales is a bilingual traffic information service for motorways and trunk roads in Wales.

The service is a public link between the Welsh Government's Traffic Management Centres.
Traffic officers, are deployed in North Wales on key strategic routes patrolling 12 hours per day seven days a week.
In both Flintshire and Wrexham the number of road traffic accidents has decreased over the past six years.
According to Stats Wales, in 2015 there were 247 accidents in Flintshire and 262 in Wrexham.
Comparatively in 2021 there were 159 accidents in Flintshire and 149 accidents in Wrexham in 2021.
