A CHILD was airlifted to hospital after a collision with a car in Wrexham.
The incident occurred on Heol Eifion in Rhos at 8.50am yesterday and involved a car and a young girl, eye-witnesses said.
Emergency services, including the air ambulance, attended the incident and the child was airlifted to Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool for treatment.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called on Sunday at 8.50am to reports of a road traffic collision involving a person and vehicle on Heol Eifion, Rhosllanerchrugog.
"We sent one emergency ambulance and a duty operations manager to the scene, where we were supported by the Wales Air Ambulance.
"One person was transported to Alder Hey Hospital for further treatment.”

A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "We were called shortly before 9am on Sunday to a report of an RTC (road traffic collision) near Gardden Road, Rhos involving a car and a pedestrian.
"Officers were in attendance, along with colleagues from the Welsh Ambulance Service."
The child's mother later posted on a local media group to say the little thankfully girl only suffered minor injuries.
