The Flint 'Rock the Castle' event brought to an end the 10 day festival in the town.

The festival featured a range of events from afternoon tea to rock concerts and really "had something for everyone" according to Flint Town Council.

The 10 day celebrations began with an afternoon tea at St Mary’s Church and St David’s church on July 1.

This was followed by a choir performance by Flint Male voice choir and Flint ladies choir at 7pm in Ysgol Gwynedd.

Day two saw Flint celebrate the emergency services with their 999 day which involved a family fun day along with emergency services giving demonstrations.
