A SERIES of free, fun activities have been announced for part of Flintshire this summer.

Our Back Yard, a Groundwork North Wales-led project, are very excited to be running some great free events during this summer's school holidays, in and around the green spaces of Connah’s Quay.

New for 2022 they are running a nature club based at Wepre Park. Quay Nature Club will take place every Tuesday for five weeks over the summer holidays, starting on July 26.

These are easy to join, drop-in sessions held between 11am-3pm, with lots of family-friendly, fun nature-related crafts and activities on offer. The sessions will run from the rear of the visitor centre.

In addition to Quay Nature Club, the Our Back Yard Project will also be running three summer events across Connah’s Quay.
