Almost Home dog rescue is a charity that cares for abandoned dogs and helps them find new owners. 

On Saturday (19 June) they are taking part in the Makers Market at Henllan Church Institute in Denbigh. 

The event will include crafts and refreshments as well as a raffle for attendees to get involved in.

Guests will be able to enjoy hot and cold drinks, cakes and soup from 9am to 3pm.

The fun doesn't stop there - the team are also hosting the Denbigh Castle Famly Fun Dog Show. 

There will be numerous categories including 'Scruffiest Mutt' with an entry cost of £1. 

Dogs are able to be entered in numerous categories and registration starts at 11am with the first category launching at 12.30pm.

The event runs from 11am to 4pm and normal castle admission will still need to be paid. 

Almost Home have commented that they will be taking photographs and recording videos on the day so ask attendees to tell them if they don't want to be included. 

All profits from both events will go to the Almost Home Dog Rescue and toward the rehoming of dogs.

So far the charity have assisted with the adoption of 862 dogs.

They also have a charity shop on in Buckley on Brunswick Road and are urging anyone with any spare items to consider donating as they are in need of extra donations. 

The team are particularly in need of plus-sized womens clothing, handbags and men's shoes.
