NORTH Wales Police says it is currently experiencing 'technical issues' with any calls attempting to make it through to its call centre.

999 calls made to the St Asaph base are being prioritised according to NWP.

But, they have warned that 'slight delays' could be experienced by callers today (Monday, June 13).

A statement from North Wales Police read: "We’re having some technical issues within our Call Centre.

“We’re prioritising 999 calls so if you need urgent help, we’ll respond quickly.”

“There may be a slight delay in some calls being answered. We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as we can.”

The force says any non-urgent matters can be directed through here.
