The Vanarama National League have confirmed their key dates for the upcoming season, which is set to start in August. 

The 2022/23 season will begin on Saturday August 6, with the fixture list set to be released on July 6. 

It was play-off heartbreak for Wrexham against Grimsby Town at the end of last season, but the focus has already switched to the upcoming campaign, in which Phil Parkinson and his side will aim to return to the Football League. 

All three National League divisions begin on the same day, as the fixture calendar returns to its traditional August-April slot, having been adjusted in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic in recent seasons.

The final day of the regular league season will be on Saturday April 29, 2023.

The dates of the 2022/23 Vanarama National League play-offs have also been confirmed, with the format unchanged once again.

Three days after the end of the season, the first eliminator match will take place with semi-finals the following weekend and the Promotion Final to take place on Saturday May 13.

Season tickets for the 2022/23 season sold out on the first day of general sale, with more than 6,150 Wrexham supporters having booked their place for the campaign.
