A line dancing group hosted their own afternoon tea in preparation for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The jubilee marks 70 years of the Queen’s reign and has seen a mass of celebration across the bank holiday weekend.

The line dancing group was ahead of the game when they celebrated with their Afternoon Tea Jubilee Celebration on Monday, 30 May.

The party was held at Hightown Community Centre where Val and Marianne's line dancing group decorated the hall with Union flags and sat along a long table with sandwiches, cupcakes and surrounded by fruit, in traditional jubilee style.

The event was organised by two members of the group, Pauline and Evette and everyone enjoyed their day!

Well done everyone!
