Workshops and interactive activities themed around empowerment, compassion and resilience in the face of adversity will be held in Wrexham this month.
The Fearless Living Day at Wrexham Glyndwr University’s Plas Coch Campus on June 8 will be delivered by colleagues from the fields of public health, mental health, wellbeing, criminology, and yoga, who are passionate about promoting happiness, health and social justice.

Workshops will include Courageous Compassion and Wellbeing, Empowerment and Social Inclusion, and Navigating the Storm, which re-imagine concepts and explores inclusive and supportive strategies for working through challenges and adversity.
Alongside the classroom-based workshops, there are three interactive activities: Yoga for Mental Health, Growth Though ‘Green’, and Creativity for Strength, where attendees can be creative, relax and get ‘hands on’ with some of the topic areas.
The Fearless Living Day will be held from 10am – 2pm.

Bring your lunch for a picnic in the Quad at midday.
No prior knowledge or experience is needed, just an open heart and mind, and some comfortable clothes.
