When it was last open, the pub had an excellent reputation within the area for the friendly and wonderful atmosphere offered, which resulted in a very loyal client base.

Plans offer its new owners the option to build new living accommodation, extend the number of letting rooms to seven and expand the restaurant/kitchen.

The Leader:

The roadside pub comes with a central bar serving two rooms, a games room with pool table and a smaller cosy bar.

The interior is adorned with an impressive collection of pottery incl 1,700 mugs at the last count.

The pub previously had a strong community focus hosting several societies and holding regular folk nights, Welsh singing and bingo nights.

There is also an extensive beer garden for alfresco enjoyment on summer nights.

The Leader:

The Oak is set on just under two acres of land and includes a ¾ acre field on the land, which has the potential to be used for alternative use such as events and gatherings.

It also includes a car park big enough for 70 vehicles, and being just off a busy A-road, previously benefitted from a large volume of passing trade.

The Leader:

When it was last open, The Oak operated between 7pm and 12am on Monday to Saturday and 12.30pm to 4.30pm and 7pm to 12am on Sundays.
