A FLINTSHIRE shopping centre will be put up for auction later this month.

Allsop is listing the Buckley Shopping Centre, situated in the heart of the town, on the market.

The site, which covers over 3,000 sq ft, features 19 shops including Iceland, Barnardos and Mencap.

The shopping centre also includes three empty retail units and a vacant first floor office suite comprising 1,434 sq ft.

It is set to hit the market on Wednesday, May 25 - but it won't come cheap as Allsop are looking for offers of over £1.9m.

A statement from Allsop on the shopping centre read: "The upper floors may be suitable for conversion to residential use subject to the existing lease and all necessary consents.

"The centre benefits from entrances at each end of the precinct with the shop units being arranged around a central mall area together with two enclosed service yards.

"There is direct pedestrian access to the local authority controlled car park immediately to the south of the property."
