A FLINTSHIRE pet shop has expanded into a larger town centre premises.

The Wild Birds and Pets store is just one of the many Mold success stories after recently taking on a larger unit within the town. 

Mayor of Mold, Councillor Sarah Taylor, was on hand to officially welcome the opening of Mark and Karen Batten’s new larger premises. 

Wild Birds and Pets is now located in the Daniel Owen Precinct (taking over the unit previously occupied by Mold Kitchens and Bathrooms, who also recently expanded, opening their new larger showroom directly opposite).

Councillor Taylor said: “I was delighted to receive the invite to visit the new store and see what Mark and Karen have been up to. They have certainly expanded their range and it is great to walk around the store and see what is on offer.

"They also provide great advice on what is best to buy whether it is which bird feed is best suited to attract certain types of birds, to which shampoo is best for your pets. They also offer a great range of pet accessories and bird feeders."

Mark Batten owner said: “After 12 years of hard work building up our business, we are delighted to be able to now move to a more spacious premises where we can continue to build on that success.

"Myself and Karen would like to thank all our customers, old and new for their support and we look forward to seeing and serving you with our bigger and better selection of stock, which is growing weekly, pop in to have a browse. We are also delighted to confirm we are ‘dog friendly’ so please do bring your doggy in with you. If you are not able to come to us, we can also offer delivery (where available).”
