Gareth said: “I’ve been in America since 2009 now and haven’t had chance to come back and visit for a few years but plan on coming back later this year. For sure the worst part about being away is missing family and friends!"

Gareth is finding Wrexham AFC’s recent success exciting and still follows them closely.

He said: “I was a big fan of Wrexham growing up and remember watching Middlesbrough and Gazza play at the Racecourse in an FA Cup game and I was in the Youth team when we won the FA trophy in 2007 and was a part of the squad that beat Boston on the last day of the season to stay up!

“Ever since I left in 2009 I’ve followed them closely. Although it’s been a while since we’ve had too much to get excited about, it’s amazing to see how well the team is doing at the moment and the buzz around the team and town with Ryan and Rob in charge.

“Like everyone I’m hoping they can continue their form and get a promotion and win the cup at Wembley!”
