POLICE officers who patrolled Wrexham AFC's FA Trophy semi-final win over Stockport County are 'happy' to report that the match 'went without incident'.
Phil Parkinson's side booked their place in Wembley with a 2-0 victory thanks to a spectacular injury-time double from talisman Paul Mullin.
Stockport County and Wrexham AFC are the top-two in the National League chasing promotion - but the game was played out in friendly fashion among supporters of both clubs according to North Wales Police.

NWP's Special Constabulary team praised the behaviour of spectators following the match.
A statement read: "Special Constables from Flintshire and Wrexham came together on Saturday to support the policing of the Wrexham AFC v Stockport football match.
"It was a great team effort from everyone involved and we're happy to say the match went without incident. Even better, it was a winning match for Wrexham AFC too!"
