A NEW National Lottery-funded community access service has been officially opened in Wrexham.

Baseline Matters CIC, on Henblas Street, was opened by the Mayor of Wrexham, Cllr Ronnie Prince.

Now Baseline Matters CIC’s new computer access desks are open for business for anyone that needs to use a computer and a copying/printer service within Wrexham.

The project was made possible by funding from the National Lottery Community Fund.

There is wi-fi throughout the premises for those that wish to bring a laptop or device and use the Community Café areas.

Denise Thomas, founder of Baseline Matters CIC said: “Anyone is welcome to use the service that needs to.

"We would also like to especially welcome any Ukranian refugees who need to access computers/online services, and will do our utmost to help where we can.

"We will also be holding basic computer introduction courses in the near future. Volunteer tutors most welcome.

We would like to thank the National Lottery Community Fund for making this possible, and Wrexham Signs for their very generous donation of new signage to signpost our new service."
