At a time when the NHS is under so much pressure, I would like to bring the attention of your readers to the excellent service we received from one of the doctors at Beech Avenue practice in Rhosllanerchrugog.
On Monday 14th of March I accompanied my husband to see a doctor at the surgery. The doctor found a dangerously low pulse and spent much time examining him further and suggested we go to A& E straight away.
When I said I had no means of transport he offered to take my husband to A&E himself as ambulance waiting time was too long.
As it happened our son was able to take us, we really did not want to take advantage of a very busy doctor.
Since then my husband has had several treatments, including a pacemaker fitted and withdrawing some tablets that he should not have been taking for a while.
Thankfully he is back home recovering now, but the outcome would have been totally different if not for the dedication of this doctor.
