World Book Day 2022 arrived with a bang, a blaze of colour and creativity.
Children across the region celebrated their love of reading, and embraced the fun after two years of subdued events.
Youngsters dressed up as their favourite book characters and hundreds of you shared pictures of your child's brilliant outfits, as seen in our 16-page supplement.
From Harry Potter and Where's Wally to the Gruffalo and Alice in Wonderland, there was a huge variety of outfits.
The Leader visited some of the schools across Wrexham and Flintshire who were celebrating the annual day, see in today's gallery.
