A climate strike on International Women's Day is set to take place in Wrexham next week.
This International Women's Day (March 8) a group of local women from various groups will be gathering in Queen's Square, Wrexham to stage a Women's Climate Strike.
The group are inviting women, girls and allies to drop in to this child-friendly event in the Square any time between 12.30-5pm.
There will be speakers from various groups talking about the Climate Emergency, women's equality and outlining what their groups are doing to raise the profile of the Crisis.
The charity organisation,'Together Creating Communities,' will also be attending the event to video their member groups, and the women speakers from the groups will include Green Christians North Wales, Ruthin Friends of the Earth, Women's Equality Party North Wales, Extinction Rebellion Wrexham, Niloha Rangel (from TCC Wrexham Town of Sanctuary), Christian Climate Action, Extinction Rebellion Buddhists.
