A DRINK driver from Wrexham has been disqualified from driving.

Marcus Kirk, aged 23, admitted being over the legal alcohol limit when behind the wheel on a road in Bradford, West Yorkshire, on January 15, 2022.

At Bradford And Keighley Magistrates Court on January 17, Kirk, of Millfields in New Broughton, was handed a 12-month driving ban.

A breathalyser test found Kirk had 42 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, with the legal limit being 35.

The disqualification could be reduced by 13 weeks subject to him completing an educational course on drink driving.

Kirk was fined £150, ordered to pay £95 surcharge and £85 court costs.
