North Wales Police have closed the bridge in both directions.
The Britannia Bridge on the A55 remains closed in both directions following a serious road traffic collision.
North Wales Police posted that the road would be closed Eastbound and Westbound at around 4am this morning.
In a recent update shortly after 8am, they said: "The full road closure on the Britannia Bridge remains in place and is likely to be closed for some time following a serious road traffic collision.
"Motorists are also advised that there is significant traffic disruption in and around the Menai Bridge area.
"Please avoid the area if you can. Thank you for your patience.
"We will issue an update as soon as possible."
