SEVERAL youths have been identified in relation to anti-social behaviour issues a Flintshire town.
In recent weeks, The Leader has reported on an increase in anti-social behaviour problems in Holywell - with some local residents scared to venture out.
On Wednesday, North Wales Police issued an update into the matter - saying that several youths responsible for causing issues in the town have been identified.
The force said: "Each of the youths identified has been issued behaviour contracts and banning orders - which will continue to be monitored and enforced by North Wales Police.
"All of their parents/guardians have been visited by officers, and informed of their children's behaviour."
Three youths have been arrested and an additional two others have been interviewed in connection with criminal offences, police said.
Local officer, PC Phil Davies, said: “This behaviour will not be tolerated. We will continue to actively patrol the area and we will deal with all incidents of anti-social behaviour and criminal matters robustly.
"We continue to ask parents to consider where your children are when they are not at home, who they are with and what they are doing.”
People are urged to report any anti-social behaviour incidents or crimes via North Wales Police's live chat service or by calling 101.
