A FLINTSHIRE lorry driver has been fined because his vehicle was over the permitted weight allowed on the road.
Mark Pugh, of Ffordd Pentre, Holywell was stopped on the A415 in Newbridge in Oxfordshire on June 7, 2021.
The gross laden heavy weight of the heavy goods vehicle was found to be in excess of the 18 tonnes permitted by Oxford County Council.
The 50-year-old was fined £220 in his absence at Oxford Magistrates Court. He must also pay costs of £180 and a surcharge to fund victim services of £34.
He has until January 28 to pay the total of £434.
