North Wales Police have advised residents in Penley to be vigilant following reports of a male knocking on doors for money.
In a post on their community alerts page, the Wrexham Rural team said:
"North Wales Police have again received reports of male knocking on doors in Penley for money.
"Unfortunately male had gone to ground when Two police cars attended the area earlier. Just to reassure residents we know who this male is and when found will be dealt with.
"If this male does knock on your door for money send him away and please call 101."
