THE Member of Parliament for Clwyd South was recently given a tour of a school in the Wrexham area.
Simon Baynes MP paid a visit to Ruabon's Ysgol Maes Y Llan on Friday, December 10.
He met with many pupils and was very grateful to be given a tour of the school, playground and external areas by some of the children.
Mr Baynes said: "It was a great pleasure to visit Ysgol Maes Y Llan, kindly organised by teacher Millie Jones, and to spend time with the pupils. The school has a very happy atmosphere and, as the headteacher Phil Hamilton said to me, the children greatly enjoy attending the school.
"I would like to thank the staff and children at Ysgol Maes Y Llan for such an enjoyable visit and send them my very best wishes for Christmas and the New Year."
