A WREXHAM road is set to be closed next week in order for 'structural works' to be carried out.
Wrexham Council says that the road from Wayfarers, Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog, from Pentre in an eastward direction toward Pen Bwlch Llandrillo will be closed temporarily.
The closure will be in place from Tuesday, December 14 and is expected to last for 2 months.
It is being enforced so that Wrexham Council workers can undertake structural works on the road.
A spokesperson for Wrexham Council said: "The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via B4500 from Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog, Chirk Village, B5070, A5 Whitehurst, B4401 Corwen, Y Ganolfan, Tyn Y Parc, Rhyd Y Glafes Farm and Glascoed and will be signposted. Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained throughout the period of closure."
