A woman has been airlifted to hospital following a collision near Hanmer, Wrexham this morning, police have confirmed.
The three-vehicle collision took place on the A525 near Whitchurch.
A woman has since been airlifted to the major trauma centre at Stoke hospital after sustaining injuries.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "Shortly after 8.30am today, officers attended reports of a three-vehicle collision on the A525 close to the Hanmer turning.
"An ambulance crew and fire officers also attended the scene.
"A stretch of the road was temporarily closed while Air Ambulance attended to assist a female who sustained injuries in the collision.
"The female was subsequently airlifted to Stoke hospital."
