AIRBUS UK Broughton are having to get used to visiting Anglesey in winter.
A week after a trip to stormy Llangefni Town, it's a visit to Holyhead Hotspur tomorrow for the Cymru North leaders.
They had to be patient, but the Wingmakers managed to stretch their unbeaten run in the league to 12 matches with last weekend's 3-0 success at Llangefni.
Airbus boss Steve O'Shaughnessy said: "It was a nightmare with the storm.
"It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, but the conditions of the pitch were heavy and there were hailstones.
"I think we could have been a few up before we took the lead.
"It was a good all-round performance."
Top scorer Adam Davies missed out on adding to his impressive tally for the season and the Airbus boss added: "I think we are all desperate for Adam to keep on scoring, but it's one of those ones he's trying too much.
"He will break the record this year."
O'Shaughnessy has praised the impact made by Jake Eyre over recent weeks, while Nathan Brown is back now and he is desperate to start.
Looking ahead to the trip to Holyhead, O'Shaughnessy added: "It's going to be another windy day.
"It's going to be a tough game and we want the three points.
"We are at the top and we want to stay there."
Joe Palmer is struggling with a hamstring injury, while Callum Humphries returns from suspension.
Meanwhile, Palmer gave his thoughts after the Wingmakers hit the halfway mark of the season with the comfortable win at Llangefni.
Goals in the second half from Jake Eyre and Beau Cornish added to the own goal from Jack Williams in the first half as the Wingmakers did the double over their Anglesey opponments.
“We just played the conditions pretty well, was tough for both sides but I think we just edged it I think," Palmer told the Airbus website.
Reflecting on Airbus leading the way in Cymru North, Palmer added: “I have always believed we would be able to do it.
“We have the side and the management and the facilities, but you still had to put in the performance to get the points and at the moment we are putting in those performances and we are that run in the league good to see and good to be involved.
“We have a good mix in the side, some experience some really young.
"I’m young myself but I’ve been around the league for a few years. (I) think that is showing now.”
Ahead of the Holyhead match, he said: "It’s usually windier at Holyhead, but we will train right in the week, and will be ready for whatever the conditions are, whatever Holyhead bring and will be looking to get another three points on the board.”
