A FUN-FILLED evening of festivities marked Flint's annual Christmas lights switch on event.
The town council-run event included a wide array of stalls and entertainment, followed by the switching on of the town's lights.
Representatives from the Giddo's Gift charity, founded in memory of local teenager Jordan Giddins, had the honour of switching on the lights - which came after a firework display.
Prior to the lights switch on, there was a visit from Santa float, accompanied by reindeer, and an array of musical performances.
Some of the stalls included in the market include bakers, artisan gifts, Greek and Lebanese food, eco-friendly home products, pet stalls, sweet treats and plenty more.
People took to social media in full of praise of the event.
One person said: "It was a wonderful evening, thank you to everyone who took part.
"The stalls were lovely, the choir were amazing, the fireworks brilliant. Best Christmas lights night ever."
Giddo's Gift took to Facebook to say: "What a wonderful turnout in Flint for the light switch on.
"Such a lovely atmosphere, great fireworks and lovely to hear the choirs .
"Thank you to everyone who stopped by and said hello and bought raffle tickets. We really appreciate everyone’s support."
Giddo's Gift will be holding its own Christmas fair this Sunday at the Flint Royal British Legion Social Club.
