AN APPEAL has been issued following a 'domestic burglary' in Wrexham.

North Wales Police say three men gained entry to a property on Salisbury Road and stole some items during the incident on Thursday, November 4.

Inspector Luke Hughes said: “Whilst nobody was hurt in this incident it was clearly a very traumatic incident for the occupant who was present at the time.

“Can I appeal for anyone who may have been passing at the time on foot or who may have dash cam footage, in particular in relation to any persons or vehicles acting suspiciously.

“Please contact our control room quoting 21000768203 if you have any information that could assist, no matter how insignificant it may seem.”

Insp Hughes added: “Can I also take this opportunity to remind residents that whist there has been a significant reduction in burglaries following some great sentencing handed by the courts, sadly, we still have opportunists who at this time of year will take advantage of the early nights and that people are often out at organised fireworks displays.

“We would always encourage the use of timed lighting, CCTV and video doorbells which have been a massive benefit in providing key evidence in prosecutions.”
