HUNDREDS of people met Wrexham AFC's new owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McEhenney during their first visit to Wrexham.

The North America-based duo spent almost a week in the town.

They were given a tour of The Racecourse but also went out and about in the community.

Many of you managed to grab a selfie either outside the ground or when they visited places in the town centre, such as St Giles Parish Church and the Butchers Market.

They called in to Mad4Movies where some of their DVDs were on the shelves.

And when Ryan was photographed leaving the market, he was seen clutching a poncho.

Richard Hopwood shared photos of his children Daisy and Alfie when they met Ryan and Rob in Wrexham near the church.

The pair also met with staff at Peter Gwyn & Sons Quality Potatoes Ltd, acompany with a long association with Wrexham AFC.

The posed for a picture with Peter Gwyn, and when Ryan saw his image was on the firm's van he insisted on signing it.

Emily Fennah shared photos of her daughter Sienna meeting Ryan and Rob.

She said: "My daughter was very lucky and very very happy."

And Dan Roberts shared photos from his Powerchair Football training session.

He said: "I was causally training for Wrexham AFC Powerchair Football. These guys are awesome."
