A MAN was alerted to masked men trying to break into his Wrexham home.
The incident occurred at about 10.30pm on Sunday at a property on Marford Hill in Marford.
A man was reportedly alerted by motion sensors to activity at his property.
CCTV at the home revealed two masked men with tools trying to force their way into the house, North Wales Police said.
The two men fled the scene after finding out that the house wasn't empty.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "We received reports that the owner of a property on Marford Hill, Marford was alerted to unusual activity at their property at around 10.30pm on Sunday, October 11.
"On review of their CCTV footage, they discovered two masked men with tools outside, who left the area shortly after.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact officers via the website or on 101, using reference Z149896."
