RESIDENTS have been urged to remain vigilant after reports of a person knocking on doors and asking for money in Acton.
The Wrexham Town Police team issued the warning on Thursday morning.
A spokesman said: "We've received reports that a male is knocking on doors in the Acton area asking residents for money.
"Please do not let anyone in your home without proof of ID.
"If you're ever unsure, don't open your door.
"Report suspicious activity to police on 101 or in an emergency 999."
