A SLIPROAD on the A55 in Flintshire has reopened but congestion remains following a HGV breakdown, it has been said.
Traffic Wales confirmed just before 7.30am on Thursday that there was heavy congestion after the westbound slip was closed at junction 34.
A spokesman for North Wales Police added the situation was due to a broken down HGV and advised diversions had been put in place.
Traffic Wales stated that at 8.25am, the on slip had been reopened to traffic but there remained "heavy congestion in the area."
