NEARLY 200 new Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in Flintshire and Wrexham.
Public Health Wales figures released on Thursday (September 23) show that of the 194 new cases in the two counties, 139 were in Flintshire and 55 in Wrexham.
Flintshire's seven-day infection rate has climbed to 546, while Wrexham's stands at 368.
Across the North Wales region as a whole, 471 new cases were confirmed in the latest 24-hour period.
As of September 9, there were 133 people being treated for Covid in North Wales hospitals - which makes up roughly 6 per cent of all inpatients.
Sadly, a further six people who had tested positive for Covid in the last 28 days have died in Wales in the latest 24-hour period.
