OVER 200 new Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in Flintshire and Wrexham.
Public Health Wales data released on Wednesday (September 15) shows that of the 219 new cases in the two counties in the latest 24-hour period, 125 were in Flintshire and 94 in Wrexham.
Flintshire's seven-day infection rate has climbed to over 400, while Wrexham's is at 392.
Across the North Wales region as a whole, 476 new cases were confirmed.
As of September 5, 89 people were being treated for Covid-19 in North Wales hospitals - making up roughly 4 per cent of the region's hospital's inpatients.
Across Wales, sadly, a further 10 people who had tested positive for Covid in the last 28 days have died in the latest 24-hour period.
A total of 2.2 million of Wales' 3.1 million population have had both doses of the vaccine.
