A PERSON was arrested after a two-vehicle crash closed a road in Wrexham for a number of hours.
The incident occurred on the B5130 Cross Lanes first thing on Tuesday morning and closed the road until about midday.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said on Tuesday: "We were called at 8.20am this morning (Tuesday) to report a two vehicle road traffic collision on Pentre Nant Lane, Wrexham.
"Officers attended and one person has been arrested on suspicion of drink/drug driving.
"The road currently was closed whilst Highways clear the road and recovery was arranged for the vehicles."
The road has since reopened.
The Welsh Ambulance Service confirmed it was not required to attend the incident.
