A TODDLER from Flintshire died in hospital after sustaining an injury, his inquest opening heard.
At the hearing held in Ruthin, senior coroner for North Wales East and Central John Gittins said that two-year-old Ethan Ives-Griffiths died following an incident in Garden City earlier this month.
He had sustained a head injury and was taken to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool.
The infant was admitted on August 15 but sadly died a day later on August 16.
Mr Gittins said that the case would be adjourned for a full hearing next year after an investigation had been held.
