A YELLOW warning for heavy rain has been issued for North Wales today.
The Met Office warning covers much of the north of England and the Midlands, including Cheshire West and Chester, as well as North Wales.
The warning, which starts at noon today (August 4) includes:
- Conwy
- Denbighshire
- Flintshire
- Gwynedd
- Powys
- Wrexham
The warning lasts until 9pm
The Met Office say: "Heavy showers will develop, bringing possible travel disruption and flooding in a few areas."
What to expect:
- Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
- Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer
- Flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible
- Some interruption to power supplies and other services could occur
Meanwhile, North Wales residents have been warned to expect thunderstorms on Friday and Saturday.
