A WOMAN has thanked the "kind souls" who placed signs with messages of love and support at a Deeside beauty spot.

Jade Ashbrook was walking her dogs in Broadoak Woods when she came across the various signs.

She said she'd been feeling low and that the signs provided her with a much-needed pick me up.

The Leader:

She said: "I’m wasn't feeling ok; I brought my dogs out for a walk and there these signs are.

"I was feeling lost and searching for a sign, then three literally appeared along the way.

"Thank you for making today a brighter day, whoever you are."

It turns out local community group 1125C.I.C is behind the signs.

It works with the most disengaged, disadvantaged and vulnerable young people and adults in the community, and three of its members, Brodie, Caitlin and Chloe, made the signs and installed them in the woods.

People took to social media to describe the signs as "lovely" and "wonderful" and Brodie, Caitlin and Chloe have been widely praised for their thoughtfulness.
