THERE have been 712 new cases of coronavirus recorded in Wales.
The latest Public Health Wales figures published on Thursday, July 22, reported that there have now been 234,880 cases of the virus recorded in the nation since the start of the pandemic.
There have been four additional covid-related deaths reported raising the total to 5,594.
Of the 712 new cases, 261 were here in North Wales.
Again, the Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board area recorded the highest number of new cases in Wales.

The seven-day rolling rate of infection in Wales as a whole is now 189.4 cases per 100,000 people.
In North Wales, the rate is higher than the national average in all but two local authority areas (Gwynedd and Anglesey).
Denbighshire has the highest rate of infection in Wales at 505.8 per 100,000.
