MEDICS scrambled to the scene of an emergency in Johnstown this weekend, it has been confirmed.
The Leader previously reported how North Wales Police were forced to close Gutter Hill in Wrexham on Sunday afternoon due to an incident in the area.
People were urged to avoid the residential area as emergency services helped. Now, it has been confirmed what happened.
On Monday morning, July 19, a Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson told the Leader: "We were called to a medical emergency on Gutter Hill in Johnstown, Wrexham at 12.18pm on Sunday 18 July.
“A public access defibrillator was dispatched and we attended with a rapid response vehicle and an emergency ambulance.”
No further details were made available about the condition of the patient.
